How We Built OptiScope and Ranked a Framer Site #1 on Google
Jul 15, 2025
Back to blogs
When we started working with Framer, we immediately saw its potential. It’s an incredible tool for creating beautiful, modern websites with ease. But we also noticed a gap—SEO optimization wasn’t as seamless as the design experience.
Framer makes it simple to build, but if you wanted to deeply analyze SEO performance, fix technical issues, and optimize content for search engines, you still had to rely on multiple external tools.
We wanted to change that.
Why We Created OptiScope
Our goal was simple: give Framer users a powerful SEO plugin that works directly inside the platform.
We wanted OptiScope to:
Analyze SEO health in real time while you design your site.
Show clear SEO scores and give actionable recommendations.
Integrate Google PageSpeed Insights for desktop and mobile.
Use AI to evaluate content quality, brand consistency, and entity coverage.
By combining a clean UI with advanced SEO analysis, we made it possible to optimize as you build—without switching tools.
Testing OptiScope on a Real Project
When the first version of OptiScope was ready, we decided to test it on one of our own Framer sites. Before optimization, the site was hidden on page 4 of Google for its main keyword.
OptiScope quickly revealed the issues:
Multiple H1 tags and inconsistent heading hierarchy.
Missing meta tags and incomplete descriptions.
Unoptimized images with no alt attributes.
Poor mobile performance affecting rankings.
Weak content structure with low entity and credibility scores.
Implementing Quick Wins Directly in Framer
With OptiScope, we made the fixes without leaving Framer:
Cleaned up the heading structure from H1 to H6.
Added better meta titles, descriptions, and trust signals.
Optimized image names and alt text for accessibility.
Improved mobile speed using PageSpeed recommendations.
Enhanced the content to align with the right entities for Google.
The Results
Within one week, the site jumped from page 4 to page 2 in Google search results.
After three weeks of consistent improvements guided by OptiScope, the site reached #1 on Google for its target keyword.
Not only did the site perform better in search engines, but it also became easier for AI platforms like ChatGPT and Claude to recognize and reference—boosting overall cross-platform visibility.
Why This Matters for Framer Users
Framer gives you amazing design freedom, but SEO is what helps your site actually get found. OptiScope bridges that gap, making sure your site is not just beautiful but also fully optimized for search engines and AI discovery.
By integrating SEO analysis directly into Framer, we’ve made it simple to create high-performing, discoverable websites—right from day one.
If we could take a site from page 4 to #1 using OptiScope, you can too.
